ELEGANT STONE & PAVER STONEWORK

Lassana’s Landscaping uses natural stepping stones, bluestone, peastone, cobblestone, and pavers to construct our walkways and patios. Each material has its own unique look and benefits, and our team will work with you to determine the best stone options for your project.

PAVERS

Many homeowners choose pavers for their projects due to customizability, ease of repair/replacement, and low maintenance. They are mass manufactured, and can be found to suit any budget. Additionally, they can be cut into any shape and have numerous color and texture options to choose from. Keeping pavers clean and weed free is a snap, so they may be the best choice for you.

BLUESTONE

Bluestone is a classic, durable stone that will last for years. It is a beautiful alternative to pavers at a bit higher price point. Since bluestone is harvested from a quarry, you will get fewer color options, but it is easily installed and comes in a variety of sizes. Its natural rough texture allows people to walk across traction, making it a safe surface to tread upon, even near pools. Bluestone is an excellent choice for either a clean-cut geometric pattern or naturally shaped irregular cuts.

PEASTONE AND GRAVEL

Peastone comes in a large variety of sizes and tones. Larger 1-2 inch peastone can be easier to walk on, and its rounded edges won’t cut your bare feet. Peastone can be used in walkways or patios to fill the gaps between larger stones. It also looks great when paired with cobblestone edging. Peastone is a lower-cost alternative to pavers or bluestone but is best used in lower-traffic areas that will not need shoveling or plowing during the winter months.

STEPPING STONES

Stepping stones can be used to create natural walking paths through your gardens or outdoor living spaces. Using natural stones will enhance the native appearance of your space, and are a good choice instead of pavers when desiring a scenic appeal to your landscape.
